You can now give gifts to friends at Fortnite. But it has little time – Computers
The possibility has long been desired and is now available even in time for Christmas.
The "gifting" has finally reached the Fortnite: Battle Royale, although it comes with "expiration date". Epic Games has announced that the possibility comes with the upgrade to version 6.31 and, for now, is only a test, being available for only a week. It is hoped, however, that what is now an experience will become, in the near future, a reality.
To offer skins and other accessories just enter the Item Store, select the item and click on "Buy as Gift". There are a few "rules": just being able to offer gifts to players who have more than 48 hours of "friendship", and can only offer three gifts a day.
The feature will be available for all platforms with the exception of iOS devices, for going against Apple's policies.
The announcement by the Fortnite Team comes at a time when the game is attributed to 200 million registered users. The value, advanced by Bloomberg, represents a 60% increase compared to 125,000 accounts in June, being five times higher (or 500%) of the numbers at the beginning of the year. Specifically for active players, the most recent data are from August, indicating that they would be around 78.3 million that month.
